The University of A Coruña, within the framework of the agreement “Cátedra Cosme Álvarez de los Ríos” announces 1 scholarship for students in the last year of the Degree in Information and Documentation at the University of A Coruña through an agreement between the University of A Coruña and Navantia SA for the realization of external academic practices of the students of the University of A Coruña.
The Cosme Álvarez de los Ríos Chair, in its desire to encourage, promote and make visible the work carried out – in the degrees and masters of the Higher Polytechnic School (EPS) – on topics of interest to Navantia Ría de Ferrol, calls for scholarships to participation in national and international congresses and publications in magazines. The purpose of these grants is to defray the expenses caused by the displacement and registration of EPS students and teachers, for the purpose of presenting papers or communications (previously accepted) at scientific conferences.

Following a systematic systems engineering process to assess the customer’s operational requirements, Navantia Australia increased the LLC’s payload (deadweight) capacity from 20 tons to 60, within established operating limits. The result is a 300% performance improvement, at minimal cost. This capacity improvement allows the loading and transport of all current and previous land vehicles in the future.
