Brief resume of the speaker: Mr. Miguel A. Vilar Montesinos is an Industrial Engineer from the University of Vigo. He began his professional career as an Electrical Engineer in the design of offshore platforms in ASTANO in 1992, later moving to the area of Technical Informatics; He was responsible for the implementation of Autocad (1994) and Foran (1996), and the first Intranet and the first website of the company (1998). Already as IZAR, since 2001, he was responsible for Shipyard Information Systems. In the last 12 years he has been responsible for NAVANTIA Engineering Systems, which covers all the CAE / CAD / CAM and PDM / PLM tools. He is currently head of the Department of Digitalization Projects and, due to his duties, collaborates with the University of Coruña, through the UMI Navantia-UDC, in various initiatives related to Shipyard 4.0, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Internet of Things and RFID
