The submarine S81 IsaacPeral has returned to the water this Tuesday after the completion of the works planned during its first scheduled stranding and is at the Armament Pier of NAVANTIA, where the port tests of the submarine continue, after its launch last May.

During this first stranding, the attack periscope has been embarked and the consoles of the combat system have been started in the command and control room.

It is expected that during this week the first version of the software corresponding to the combat system will be installed, after the successful tests carried out in the Systems Division in San Fernando during the month of July.

The submarine will remain during the coming months at the NAVANTIA Armament Dock, where it will continue to carry out the port tests. A second stranding is expected to take place in early 2022, prior to the start of sea trials, which will begin in the first quarter of next year. The delivery of the submarine to the Spanish Navy is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.
