Brief resume of the speaker: is a Naval Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and Master in Shipping, IME-UPC He has developed all his professional work in the field of transport and logistics, holding various positions of responsibility in the field of administration public (General Director of Maritime Rescue for about 6 years), as well as in the private sphere (Executive Director of Ports and Maritime Transport at INECO, Partner-Director and Director of Consulting of the company SPIM). During his term in the management of a public entity, he has designed, prepared and executed, among others, the National Rescue Plan with more than 1,000 million euros. Expert in port areas, logistics and maritime transport, she has directed numerous projects on port strategies, development of port zones, analysis and strategies in maritime transport, especially in Short Sea Shipping lines. He also has direct experience in the shipping sector in the shipping company Operadores Marítimos S.A. He teaches courses in specialized courses in transport and logistics, and is a member of the Maritime Affairs Committee and the Transport Committee of the Engineering Institute of Spain. He has received the 2009 AINE Award for the “Naval Engineer with the Most Outstanding Trajectory during 2009” She is currently a Partner-Director of TEIRLOG INGENIERÍA, and Technical Director of the Spanish Association for the Promotion of Short Sea Shipping (SPC-Spain).
